Eco Training

The Eco Training feature allows you to minimize the environmental impact of your training experiments.

When you click on the Eco Training icon, your experiment runs in Eco Mode. In this mode, the training process is only active when the current carbon intensity (measured in grams of CO2 equivalent per kilowatt-hour, or gCO2e/kWh) of the data center is below the weekly average.

This helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with training machine learning models by taking advantage of times when the data center is using cleaner energy.
